As soon as I saw this challenge for Kraft+ I knew I had to play along. It seems there are a few people out there that had the same idea though and used photos from last years Scrap and Chat Retreat. I can’t wait for this years. Anyways, here is my take on the Denim Revolution.
The photo is a little bit cheeky – An Angry Cock beer. So I decided to play on this and use the top of a tiny pair of denim shorts with the zip coming down. For my background, I used some printed Kraft paper from a typo bag. The fact that it has all old ads printed on it and there is one at the top about disguises made it perfect for this page.
Here are a few close ups.
This month as part of the Charms Creations Creative Team I was invited to play along with CSI Challenges. I have played along before and they are great for getting your mind ticking and thinking outside the box.
Here is the challenge:
And here is my take on it. I took inspiration from a few of the criteria.
I have been hoarding these chipboard animals for a long while. My aim this year is to actually use my stash!
Here are some Close ups:
Snapchat is an app that has been real popular on a lot of Scrapbooking Layouts of late and my husband has been snapchatting his work buddies for a while but I never really saw the point of it. But I needed animal photos and this was the best way to get some with meaningful stories behind them. The reason I decided to download Snapchat was because my son was having a very hard time adjusting to his older sister starting kindy. He was very very sad. I had to try and find little things that he and I could do (and his little sister who was yet to step into big sister shoes) and take his mind off the fact that it was only 8.45am, she had only been gone 15 minutes and he had to wait until 2.30pm for her to come home.

Here is another layout where I used Snapchat photos.
I made this layout more about the rainbow of colours. It is a bright fun layout that makes my son smile.
Thanks for stopping by today.
This month Picture This challenge was a Tic Tac Toe and love these. So I had to play along.
Here is the challenge.
And here is my take. I went with the three straight down the right handside.
Here are a few close ups too.
Just quick share today using the new Flutterby Designs “Fur-ever” friends collection. This was the 8th layout I created from this collection. I had plans for a layout but then things changed on Saturday. This layout features my best friends cat, Spencer. I had planned to make a funny layout but then on Saturday, my BF Sarah, told me Spence was a little bit off and had to make a weekend visit to the vet. On Monday after a grim diagnosis Spencer was put to sleep. So I changed my funny layout to something Sarah could hang on her wall. I framed and delivered it before she got home from work.
For the background I used the “You Spin Me Right Round” Stencil with some Colour Blast Colour Spray, then stamped over the top for a bit more visual interest.
Here are a few close ups…
Sarah loved it.
Now here is another layout layout I did. I thought I would never manage to use the cat cards from this collection, then on a day last week when it was close to a MILLION degrees (Queensland summer temperature at 40 degrees celcius) my daughter decided the it was too hot for clothes but totally suitable for a cat beanie. She wouldn’t wear the damn thing in winter and I have no idea where she got it from but Freaking Crazy is the only way to describe her.

But here are a few close ups.
Today I am sharing my most recent layout for Colour Blast Australia. This layout is made up of a whole heap of scraps, colours, chipboard, stamping and that’s about all.
I literally used scraps to build my base. You can read all about it on the Colour Blast blog.
Just a quick share today to share my latest layout for Flutterby Designs. This layout is featuring the Mad About You collection and my very annoying Husband. I’m pretty sure he wasn’t always this annoying.
There is a process video to so head over to POPLEOPOD on YouTube and check it out.
