Week 15 – Project Life

Another week has passed so quickly. Is it just me or is this year flying by. Darling husband is on holidays at the moment so our time has been spent around the house getting odd jobs done.

This week it was the gardens. Both our kids love being outside and specifically “in” the garden. Yes, that’s right, “in” the garden and in particular the veggie patch. When we first put in the veggie patch, we just used some tin we had lying around after our house was re-roofed. We only had one small baby and the idea of the patch was so she could have organic food when she started eating solids. We didn’t think about the long term or the fact that children grow. We put some hose on the edges to cover the sharp bits but it was never designed to handle two toddlers climbing in and out of the garden bed. Husband finally got sick of me shouting, “Get out of there before you cut your legs off”, so he decided to pull out the tin ones and replace them with wood. This was a big chunk of our week and it is finally done and safe. We just need to get more seedlings to fill these up now. But that’s next week.

For this layout I used the Stawberry kit. I love the colours but to be honest Emily Ley had been dominating my Insta feed this week so this may have something to do with it. I also used Snapseed for photo editing and Letterglow for journalling.
